Located in Sydney's northern beaches, Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club, in Harbord provides a relaxed and casual atmosphere ideal for catering a wedding reception or ceremonies, birthday celebrations, private dinners, conferences, seminars or corporate team building days with beach style activities.
The main features is the flexibility of the space, its location, price, the beach facing balcony and the beach facing level grass area. It also features a commercial kitchen, BYO, tables and chair, plus access to a large coolroom. As one of the preferred caterers, we do highly recommend this absolute beach front venue for your next special event.

Catering menu options for Freshwater Surf Club we would recommend either a cocktail style event with a selection of canapes with various food stations scattered around the venue space, inside and outside. For a sit down event, we recommend our share platter menu options or a buffet style.

The Freshwater Room

Sits on the beach and offers a excellent balcony overlooking the water and the Freshwater headlands. The Freshwater Room has polished wooden floorboards, large opening doors to the balcony, a great space for a bar area, and extremely flexible room set up options.

The Heritage Room

The Heritage Room at Freshwater surf club

is a smaller function area which opens out onto a grassed area overlooking the beach, has polished wooden floorboards and some great surfing memorabilia . Perfect for pre-dinner drinks before moving into the larger Freshwater Room or as a great standalone function area for intimate event. The grassed area is a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony.
